Patchy freezing drizzle overnight and early this morning has caused widespread travel disruptions due to black ice developing on roads...bridges...overpasses and other exposed surfaces. Pockets of freezing drizzle will continue through the morning and with air temperatures remaining in the upper 20s and lower 30s...icy conditions will persist. The morning commute will continue to be impacted as well. Be alert for slick and icy roads through the morning. Allow extra time to reach your destination and reduce your speed.
