No, not really. I just made that category up. Two out of the three popular computer models have extreme heat lasting until June 26. The American GFS model keeps us in the low to mid 90's during the week of June 20th. Here's what the European and Canadian models say (respectively):
The main problem with these heat waves is that when they set up, they tend not to leave for a long time unless there is a major shift in the pattern. The CFS is the longest range model available and it hints at a pattern shift around July 12 but this is highly unreliable. Check out these low temperatures for July 12th:
