There's barely 24 hours between the first and the second storm and the National Weather Service likes to put out alerts, advisories and warning 12 to 48 hours in advance. Try not to get confused if you wake up in the morning and see a new winter storm watch, warning or advisory. It's likely for the new storm rather than the existing storm.They could overlap.
