The Kelvin Wave in California and Snow Chances in Indiana.
Kelvin waves are massive, slow-moving pulses of warm water that travel deep beneath the ocean's surface along the equator or a coastline. One is expected to hit California between now and October 15th. Once it arrives, it will raise sea levels by as much as six inches to a foot.
